The defense has pitched 2 shutouts in the last 3 weeks. However, because of 2 special teams breakdowns (KO return and a bad punt snap) there have been 7's left on the scoreboard. Also, a deep pass and a lot of help from the refs (that allowed a FG at the half) in Muncie led to only 10 points down there.

A lot of noise (locally and nationally) is being made of the fact that the fella in Ann Arbor has not been scored on in the last 3 weeks.

Toledo's Defense could, and should, be getting more chatter.

Got to love when you see those Zeros, Goose Eggs, Nadas, Nils, Nopes, No Chance, No Dice, Not Happening, etc.... in the score box of the Rocket opponents.
Agreed! It would have been nice to have those shutouts.

After all their recent success, I heard that Michigan will be looking for a new fan bus:

They will have to double the old one at least. Maybe even triple. The fans must be swooning and getting the vapors.
It kind of keeps us under the radar though... Not having those numbers be 0's even though that's how our defense is playing. Im not sure if we want to be under the radar or not? As far as the MAC goes we arent... But ive been watching ESPN non stop and stopping on every college football show. I have yet to hear Toledo mentioned. Not sure if it's because our opponents are lack luster for these few weeks? But we will have to be talked about at some point. Those midweek games will be micro analyzed when they arrive.

I DID enjoy not having to scroll past ESPN's default Top Twenty-five scoreboard to find the MAC scores and Toledo-Kent stats. They were right there on the front page! 04-rock

Loved seeing the stats on the scroll.

Unfortunately, the only highlight they showed of the UT game on College Football Final was the snap over the punters head for the KSU TD. Although, I don't recall seeing any Boise St highlights either.
The guys on CBS during the Arkansas/Alabama game were saying Arkansas' loss to Toledo doesn't look so bad anymore. That's pretty much all I saw in terms of network coverage. I can see there being some serious debate over who deserves to be ranked higher between 1-loss Boise and 0-loss us, should both continue to win. So, just keep winning.

It also could work out in our favor that two of the teams left on our schedule are teams who gave the #1 team in the country more of a fight than they asked for.
