Right after UT gets a quick 1st down in their first possession, Jake picks off an interception on a deflected pass. Good ole Vern Lundquist properly mentioned he is a first year player at Georgia since UAB dropped football this year.
UAB has received numerous mentions concerning former Blazer players who now play for Indiana and UGA. Ganus also recovered a fumble from Bama in that game and drew mention of UAB then as well. It's probably just coincidence, but Indiana has lost badly since Howard's injury took him out of their lineup.
