Is this the worst Texas team in history? They are trailing 50-0 at TCU.
yes.
Probably the richest athletic department in history.
If they only had P5 money, they could be a contender for the National Championship.

Not much doubt about it. Moreover, with the Big 12 under their thumb, they are also powerful. Six years ago, they were national champions and now they are blown out 50-7 by a school which was in the MWC at the time. Hopefully, their influence in the conference is a bit diminished for a while.
Let just hope they don't come knocking on our door unless they want to play us

I know what you mean. We need some easy wins.
They even had a player tweet about transferring at half time. That's gotta be a new low
Wonder if they regret inviting TCU
Isn't Texas the richest athletic program in the country?[/u]

Matt Walks, ESPN.com

"Oh, the perils of social media.

On Saturday afternoon, the Rangers' official Twitter account @Rangers tweeted "FireCharlie.# bye" during the Texas Rangers' tilt with the Los Angeles Angels.

Meanwhile, in Fort Worth, Charlie Strong's Texas Longhorns were on their way to a 50-7 blowout loss to TCU".

Texas' power play with the longhorn network and trying to dictate the big 12 has really backfired.

A&M came out ahead so far in that deal
Texas comes after Fuente. Fuente asks that Texas push for Memphis entry to the Big 12 as part of his offer. That is my dream situstion if he leaves after this year
Couldn't happen to a more smug and arrogant bunch. Happy to see them failing.

I despise Texas as much as Ole Miss or Tennessee

I like the way you think.

I'll go a step further, once Texas helps us get in, Fuente tells them to suck eggs and stays at Memphis

Why would we want him? I don't want anyone with some quit in them playing for my Tigers. I don't care if one of our players isn't very good...I want to see SOME kind of fight in them (after all...our motto IS "Fight like TIGERS!" is it not?)

Well, maybe if he's a corner.
Texas will be coming after Coach Fuente. Will it be this yr. or next? Don't want us in their club, but would love to have our coach, hope he says let me think about it. In the meantime how about a home and home schedule!
