Both Athlon and Sporting News pick the Rockets fourth in the West. CMU picked to win followed by Western and Ball State.

I don't think so.
If Central gets buy-in and continues to play the style they played last year, I wouldn't be surprised to see them win the West. Ball State was somewhat young last season, much like the Rockets will be this time around. Western has a pedigree of late. Can Toledo jump over both of them?
CMU has the talent we had the year we tied WMU.
It is difficult to forecast the Rockets with half a dozen freshmen. Need game experience to make more in-depth and informed projections.

If you've got two that are going to break into the starting line up and you've got some decent talent already, that's good. It means the Freshmen
are going to be role players and not counted on to carry the team.

Will this team be good, very good or really good. Need some time to tell. I am hoping they will be better than "oh they have freshmen playing so they will be fourth in the MAC West" good.

I'm pulling for the second coming of Friddle's Freshmen!
It is good deep group. Odds are a few if them never really fulfill their promise. Are the good ones really good? Will they be that good right away? late in the year? In 3 years?
