I'm not an ECU hater, I always root for them out of conference in all sports and sometimes in conference depending on what is in Temple's best interest.

I just think their fans on here get big heads too much of the time and it's funny seeing them PMS when people post comments about them

I'm not an ECU hater, I always root for them out of conference in all sports and sometimes in conference depending on what is in Temple's best interest.

Haha. Yes, I would agree that, on the whole, some ECU fans on here can dish it better than they can take it. It was that way with some UCF fans last year, but this season they are all calmer due to the on-field results. Some Memphis fans this year are unbearable, though. You would think that Memphis football has been good for more than two years and has the history of Alabama by the way they smack talk the rest of the AAC fanbases on here.

Passionate fans by their very nature are "fanatical" about your team. Couple that with this being a message board where you aren't actually talking to someone's face then a lot of smack gets thrown around. The funny thing is that some of the fanbases on this message board that annoy me (yes including some ECU fans) are actually great fanbases when you see them face to face. A great example is Marshall, some of their posters on this board drive me nuts. When you go to a game though they are some of the classiest I've ever met.

Also the better a team is doing usually the more annoying they get, again ECU included. That's why I enjoy reading this board but don't post very much because I usually try to avoid getting in pointless smack sessions with message board posters.

Yes, if UConn football is ever at the top of this conference, I would LIKE to think that I won't become a complete toolbag and start getting snarky and taunting everyone. However, after all the cr*p that UConn football fans have endured on here, I will likely just go full on b@lls in the face when I comment at that point! haha

Then again, looking at UConn's continued problems on offense, I think that I will be forced to remain my mild mannered self on here for a long while.

Yes, if UConn football is ever at the top of this conference, I would LIKE to think that I won't become a complete toolbag and start getting snarky and taunting everyone. You'll be fine. I think Diaco has you guys heading in the right direction, plus it all starts with defense. It'd be tough to find a worse offense than Temple's last year and our defense still carried us to 6 wins. Plus it was expected to take a few years to undue PP's damage lol
