Good morning, guys.

I was checking in the see what the chatter was on Moore. He went to highschool with Little Smaug, and was damn fun to watch.

I take interesting football things where I can find them these days.
Guy might have Wally Pipp'd Gunner. He was fun to watch. More Moore, please.
He broke a school record that stood for over 40 years and he wasn't even the starter. He has tons of potential. Once he understands the game better he will make even better decisions and keep the ball a little lower. But I love how he looks for the big plays first and checks down only as a last resort. That's a winner's mentality. It sometimes leads to disaster like the last turnover, but that's the price you pay for all of those yards and TDs. That's why Favre is the all time leader in TDs and interceptions: you need to take some chances to be successful.
Isn't Ross Trail also a respected talent. We should have a great QB competition the next few years.

Totally agree. Really unbelievable when you think about it. As upset as I am about the game, I woke up really appreciating what Moore accomplished last night. He didn't play until the end of the 1st quarter and broke a record last night. I've been high on him since I saw him in the spring game last year. He's a gunslinger. Stood tall and delivered big throws on time and on the money. And he didn't have an effective run game to take much pressure off him.
Yeah , stepping back from the loss and looking at his line is amazing. 3+ qtrs .. 31/53 557 yards 4td 2int. He nearly brought us back with :52 and 75 yards to go . He looks calm and cool out there. He immediately has national recognition for what he did on ESPN last night and will get another national stage next Thursday
Broke Cook's passing record, was amazing last night.

The O line did a great job keeping the QB safe. Both hits Kiel took came from the back side. The Memphis hit was a cheap shot.

and just last week some posters were called "stupid" for suggesting Moore should get a shot
I know most folks were pissed about the loss last night. I acknowledged this team wasn't anything special after the Temple game and Miami just solidified it. But I'm excited to see more of Hayden Moore. I really want to see this kid once he gets settled in a little more and works through the nerves. While it cost us the game, I hope the INT at the end was a big learning experience for him. Otherwise he seemed to make smart decisions all night. I'm still blown away that he broke that record.
Dude is a beast and i was scared to death every time he dropped back. I was at the game and met some of your fans, good friendly people for sure. I wish we had him as our backup though the future is bright for that kid.

To start over a healthy Kiel, when he had 4 turnovers in 1 quarter. Yeah that might have been me. No matter what happens the rest of the season it is Tubs (Bush's) fault anyway.
Moore looks a lot better than Kiel right now. Poised, great footwork, no issues hitting his guys deep. He handles the pressure very well. 2 INTS this last game. However, the last one was a last ditch effort to win the game. He is a freshman, so there are going to be some growing pains.

Agreed. And the first pick the DB just made a spectacular play. Let's not forget Kiel had a pick 6 early in the game that was pretty bad. I certainly wouldn't have advocated for Moore over Kiel especially after what we saw last week from him. It was just enough for him to get the jitters out I guess. It's amazing to think he had 4 turnovers in the 4th qtr against a terrible Miami team. Fast forward 5 days later and he sets an all time UC passing record in 3 quarters worth of action. Has to be unprecedented.

Amazing poise for a freshman. And that kid has a cannon of an arm. Once he settles down his deep ball is going to keep d-coordinators up at night for a long time.
2 INTS is almost the price you pay for 550 yards, 4TDs, and a pile of points. When you're that explosive and aggressive, you'll get some bungles. They're not all gonna be gems.

Valid point, but I'm not sure I'd even call them bungles. The firs pick wasn't a great throw, but was more a really great play by the Memphis DB. The second was his inner Brett Farve coming out. Bad play, but can't really lay blame, Hayden did everything you could ask him and Moore.
2015 total year stats...

Kiel 70/111 63.1% 868yrds 5td 5 int 134.6 QBR
Moore 46/81 56.8% 782yrds 5Td 4 int 148.4 QBR

One is a potential NFL draft pick the other is a RS frosh whos played in 2 games.
In addition to praising Moore, who deserves so much more recognition for that performance, lets give a hand to the O-line. They were giving Moore enough time to sit back there, read the defense, make all the progressions, have a snack and a quick nap, and still be able to step into almost every throw. With the exception of the final play, they played tremendously.

Speaking of which, wtf was he thinking on that last play? I don't want diminish anything else he did, but...
