With Toledo getting 36 votes and a ranking of 30th in the AP poll and NIU shut out again it will make destroying their Access Bowl hopes even sweeter than usual. Just need a one loss NIU and an undefeated Toledo locking horns in November. I don't understand why we get so little respect. Every story dismisses NIU and may also about how poorly OSU played. I think that we had a little something to do with it.
We have not beat anyone yet... just a bad unlv team and a fcs team. Moral victories don't count. Wait to see if we beat BC, then we should get votes.

+1. If we keep winning, we'll get our votes.
I agree that we haven't beaten anyone of note to this point. The point was that I hope to see a great matchup at Toledo. I'm sure that they're riding high right now (as they should be) and that even though our offense didn't play well yesterday at least part of OSU being limited to less than 300 yards was due to the play of our defense. That's why I mentioned the lack of respect. Almost no media member writing or talking about the game gave the NIU D the credit that they deserved.

Yep no one will argue NIU is getting a lack of respect that they deserve for the OSU game, man when you look at ESPN, there is some genuine deep disdain for NIU among some of the higher profile analysts.
