In previous years there was an ODU Football Show on WAVY on Friday nights after the late news with Bruce Rader & BW. I don't see it on the schedule anymore. Did they cancel it? I emailed the station and they never responded.
While this thread is still around, I would like to ask for some help from you guys.
Each week on the show, we have a segment called "Coach's Corner" where coach Wilder answers questions that fans send in.
A lot of the questions are kind of lame, so I'm asking you guys to fire away, send me any question that you have for coach.
It could be about anything. He really loves that segment and is thrilled when a fan asks an intelligent football question. I'll even try to get a Lion's Den shoutout in there someway. You can send it as a video or just a simple old regular email.
One thing thats kind of a feel good question for the coach regarding the defense. Was there a defining moment during the first 3 games that had you smile and go "...there it is, we're going to be ok."?

It kind of looks to me like they are being very conservative with Bentley so as to avoid a bunch of miscues. You don't want your freshman qb getting his confidence too rattled, especially when you don't have much depth at qb.
I think the pick against NSU is ODU's only turnover to this point. Our offense is no longer one that is capable of coming back from big defecits; at least not yet. They know they can't afford a bunch of pick sixes and still have much of a chance to win. I think it will loosen up a bit soon. We won't see another team close to as good as the Wolfpack this season.

I think a lot of this had to do with field position and wanting to protect SB's psyche by not making making the big mistake. It seemed like practically every drive we had started inside our own 15 and many of those inside our own 10. I may be wrong, but i believe the one TD drive in the 2nd half came after a kickoff where we started around the 25 and had some room to operate.
