Does anyone have any concerns about:

1. How inexperienced the offensive line is this week?

2. How the team doesn't get beat up by playing a "bigger" school from a power conference?

Yes and Yes.
I'm less concerned about the O line's experience after the Ark game. Iowa St doesn't pose any more of a threat than Ark to the O-line. They have one more game under thier belt against a quality opponent.

As far as getting beat up, injuries happen. Hopefully they will be limited and not affect the bulk of the MAC sched. Look, we lost Swanson in the non-game against Stony. They are unavoidable when they come. Hopefully the coaching staff has the players in shape so that they will be minimal. Don't most people on this board want the chance to play with the big dogs? If your going to compete with the big dogs, you have to play just as big.
Will Swanson be back this year or is he a redshirt candidate?

His injury is seriously that severe? He barely even played and nothing has been mentioned in this context...
I spoke to coach at Frick's and he says he expects him to be dressed this weekend.

He was dressed and on the sidelines last week at Arkansas. Obviously he didn't play, not sure if he participated in warm ups or not.

No, our OL played great for being the first time on the field together. What injuries we had last week are very miner. It will be a great game for us, hopefully I will see all your smiling faces in the Glass Bowl, saturday. It was nice too see all the people who jumped on the bandwagon and came to Frickers last Monday after our win at Arkansas.

thats also the case for me....finally have a somewhat normal job. before i always had to either work or had class. and it takes about 30 minutes to get there from west toledo
Swanson was a bit lucky on his injury. He took a direct shot to his knee and luckily must have had it flexed - otherwise he very possibly could have had a Tait knee blow-out. I cringed when I saw it happen, and he limped off after the play - not a significant or painful look to the limp, but it was definitely noticeable. Turns out his ankle must have taken the brunt of the transferred energy if that is where his injury is. Just glad it wasn't much worse, because I sure thought it was going to be.
