Lindy's is out as well as another one. UT is third in the West in Lindy, fourth in ...Athlon, maybe? Anyway, both say we will have to use frosh a lot and that Buffalo's new coach really took a hit from Hurley's poaching, but that the presence of returning MAC POY Justin Moss will really help. It's been how long?
If the freshmen play a lot (as expected) and we finish 3rd in the West, with a winning record in the MAC...I don't know that I would complain (much).

Coach K spoke at the Arkansa rally. He said he had high hopes for the team and that possibly two freshman will be in the starting line-up. Thinking back I'm not sure whether he said "possibly". From a player stand-point and the fact that the start of the season is quite sometime away, is it a smart coaching move to say that two freshman are going to start? Especially in front of a bunch of alums! I talked with him briefly and he knew I was from NJ. He told me one of next years games is at St. Joseph's in Philly. Pretty tough site...not sure if the game is at the Palestra or at St. Joe's .
I'm not expecting a drop off this season. This is not your typical MAC Freshman class.

I think if a couple of the freshmen don't step up it could be a long season. I also feel Coach K saying what he expects at this time is fine as they have had summer pick up games and now fall individual workouts with the players.
