So, the latest contact of mine with Blazer Boosters was Alex Ware. Today I got an auto reply ... "I am no longer an employee of Blazer Boosters or UAB Athletics. If you need to reach someone within Blazer Boosters, please email Jessica Lynch at jklynch@uab.edu or call the Blazer Boosters office at 205-996-9969."

Any idea what happened to him?
Since he recorded the message I would think he left on his own terms.

It was an email reply. I was just curious.

I know they probably aren't the most prestigious jobs in the world, but some continuity over there would be excellent. I know it is common knowledge, but our ticket office and booster club is comical. Every time I call, I can't help but imagine my grandmother working in the yard and sprinting into the house to answer the phone just before the caller hangs up. It seems like it takes them 6-8 rings to answer and they're always out of breath.
How many does that make that have left/forced out since Ingram arrived, 5 ?
Alex joined the staff in May, so that didn't last long!

"By the time they came for me, all who might have cared about me were already gone". (Yes, it is a paraphrase, not an exact quote). Are we seeing this tactic being carried out in UAB Athletics by the UAB administration? To what end result?
IIRC he was the one that met w/ me about my Blazer Booster as well & he said he came in just before Ingram so he was more Ingram boy than Mackin plus I think he said he came from UGA. Maybe he wasn't doing his job well enough & was just about out of his probationary period & saw the writing & went out on his terms or maybe got a better offer given our situation???

I agree. He was the least "sales guy" of any I've ever worked with over there. It was a breath of fresh air.
