Pizza Villa was the choice for us on Saturday September 12th for Homewood Huskie and Family after the Murray State game. It was packed as expected but I would give it an overall B. The food was good and environment solid. Just had a couple mix ups with the food and who our waitress was but I guess that was to be expected with the craziness of how busy it was. Again, food was good, wife and son and girl friend had Pizza and I had two piece chicken dinner and we had beer nuggets as well. All in all good experience.

I was with my parents this past weekend and we drove by Pizza Villa and they said that place was even there when they went to school in the 60's! It definitely must have staying power, I have never been there though.
How was your first gameday experience here at niu? Hope you had a good time.
Bruh, you did chicken....at Pizza Villa?!?!
The place looks the same as it did 40 years ago. I think they have the same chairs I sat in from 1972. Like the Shamrock (Lord Stanley), time stands still.

Growing up in Sycamore, that place always brings such a sense of nostalgia. As did the old Bottle Store sign, until CVS took over.

I prefer whats in back of lord stanleys... world famous Pizza.
We went to Eduardo's after the game. Got in right away. Food was pretty good.
Went to China House. Got in quick and stuffed ourselves.
I still have the Pizza Villa delivery number etched in my brain (758-8116?). The place hasn't changed in 40 years, but I was disappointed to learn that they don't sell Italian Beef sandwiches anymore. They were a favorite at 1 AM.
Yep my wife thought I was crazy but they had a huge pepperoni and cheese pizza.

I was doing the college thing back in the 60's, and your parents are right - Pizza Villa rocks!! It was the "go to place" back then
