That's true but they are tipping their hand. We need to show up at the BOT meeting next week.

Absolutely, not saying stop fighting. Actually saying the opposite. This getting on the books doesn't mean it's the end.

Could these "soft" athletic fields (softball; tennis; volleyball; etc) just be placeholders for bigger plans for OCS. Look how long the stadium sat on the previous master plan and wasn't build! I believe Ray Watts has to go. He is not helping the situation by saying one thing in private, saying nothing encouraging and supportive in public then acting against Athletics in private.
The link now says "Plan under update - will be available again for review after 11:00 a.m"....

I wonder what's being changed?!?!?
I'm guessing an email box was bombarded.
In the pdf, they specifically mention that the practice fields are for football. Still, they left out the other proposed football facilities.
Should we propose a class action law suit to recover our donations it Watts submits this Master Plan to the BoT without the athletic facilities we are donating for are on it? If he knows he is getting sued if he does submit it maybe he'll have second thoughts. A class action lawsuit accusing Watts and the BoT of miss using donations would cause a lot of bad press nationally.

That is exactly what happened. I was informed that leaving the football building off the map was an error that occurred due to transitioning the map between different consultants and that the update that is currently occurring is to add the building to the map.
Funny thing is that is not what Clark wants. He has a design sitting on his table in his office that looks much different than that. It shows that Ingram has not listen to what Clark wants.

Not listening to us either. Listening to someone or no one?

Football Ops facilities back on the map...

...so a step in the right direction, I guess? I also daresay we should expect a better contract offer by Monday--after all, WE'RE PAYING FOR THIS!!

I think it was just a honest mistake.

Too much good will has been lost to still have the benefit of the doubt.
