I actually hope to see Cox getting a few more carries to keep Lawry fresh all season.

It seemed to me they gave "drives" to Cox but we werent really successful on the drives that he was in if i recall correctly.

He looks like he has talent though. Needs to not run so upright.

Cox had seven carries for 33 yards, as opposed to RL's 28.
When you are down two scores you are going to play your proven guy
I obviously want Ray to earn all of the accolades this season but I am hoping that we find a way to limit his carries this weekend. We need him fresh for the entire season. Let him get his yards....which I am sure he will do fairly easily and then get Cox and Lowe the ball. Also, a great game to develop Shuler's confidence even more. I am loving this weekend leading into the NC State game.

Very true. I wasn't questioning the amount of touches each back received, just stating it. 04-cheers
In his press conference, BW talked about wanting to not have to use Lawry in the 30 touches range on a regular basis.
