The photo of the band on the field doesn't look at all like "the Enterprise". Boys will be boys. Beavis and Butthead would be proud.

I like to think I have a reasonably filthy mind...and that shape to me looked more like the Enterprise than the phallus people are seeing. Sometimes a starship is just a starship...

If I ever fell down the stairs and banged my head hard on each and every step, then I might be a kstate fan.

Yup, that's all I saw as well.

This 19 year old couldn't see what was wrong with it.

come on, if you were not told ahead of time it was the star ship enterprise, what would make you think it was? its such a bizarre combo, a kansas j-hawk and the starship enterprise, who comes up with stuff? Of course it will be up to the fans to try to interpret. kinda like a pysch test. what do you see in the marching band?

Some folks are itching to be offended by just about anything. Must be a joyless existence they lead

I wondered what all the fuss was about. I've seen far worse over the years.

Unless there's a smoking-gun revelation, I'm giving them the benefit of a doubt.

Let's hope they aren't becoming like Rice's marching band in those latter days of the SWC.
