I am guessing we get an agreement in principal first part of the month. Hear nothing (about contract) at the board meeting. (People will flip out) and it gets approved at the next teleconference.

I'm assuming you're not blaming us for our skittish nature.
We have every right to be skittish.
Just because you are paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you......
The question is not am I paranoid, its am I paranoid enough
In Soviet Russia, there are no paranoids. Everyone is being spied on and plotted against.

Current event update: there is no soviet Russia
I'm sure we'll hear about an agreement on the contract before it actually goes before the board. If they do come to an agreement, it will be an easy PR win for the administration. It won't be announced via a board meeting agenda.

It's true. I studied poly sci at UAB and have a degree with specialties in comparative politics and also American government. The soviet collapse happened while I was attending UAB. At the time one of the sbs proffs grew up in the Soviet Union and attended the university of Moscow before he defected. He had a unique perspective on the events.
Did he teach you anything about doubling down on a weak attempt at humor? 03-lol

Nothing I said was untrue.

Except they've not been overly adept at taking advantage of "easy" PR wins.
2:15 pm today, who's calling in ?
I may
Too noisy in my office to hear. Can someone give us a recap afterwards?
Must have not lasted long. I called just now, 20 minutes after scheduled start, and the number doesn't work (assuming that means it has ended).
Knowing their past history & how they work, it could be that they took a unofficial poll & decided to remove it from the agenda & ended up in executive session w/ NDA signed by all
They usually start on time. Looking at the Agenda, it probably didn't last more than 10 minutes.
