Not to complain but it sounds like an infomercial--which it was. Eastern paid 105.1 for some air time, so it comes off like a paid commercial.

I agree to some extent, but with only a 30 minute time chunk their goal is to inform people about the team and try to get them out to a game. The majority of viewers on a UM and MSU dominated airwave are not going to know the players on the team and care much about the position battles and X's and O's that we talk about on here. It's the same way the show was last year, but having Steiner host instead of Maz was much better. He was clueless last year with obviously no interest in the team or even being there during the program.

Too bad they couldn't get a deal with WDFN and have Shep host the show. Matt both knows and cares about EMU football and unlike Steiner, he is a respected broadcasting professional.

You would think that 105 would cover EMU sports without being paid for it.

We lack media coverage, I hear Fleck and Coach B on Lansing talk show radio frequently I guess they don't invite CC to speak although I'm sure CC would love to get on sports radio more often.
