Thanks for kicking me in the stomach just now.
Blazuars.
Y'all gonna love K Jack.
I'll hope for the best individual performances from each of the former Blazers, but don't expect me to root for the Jags.
Hey no problem. Always love to hear from the benefactors of our pseudo-demise.
Wishing our guys luck.

Thanks for being classy...
There is a two year window for UAB fans to care about USA football. In 2017 it all goes back to normal.
Don't poke the dragon. I will look forward to pummeling the jags in the future.

I will be cheering on the USA "Jaguazers" this fall.
I call them the USA Vultures, but I guess that's insensitive.

Also, not fair. I tend to think of our players as football refugees. You can't be stoked that Jake Ganus landed at UGA and be pissed at South for the guys who landed there.
The success of our players at South Alabama speaks volumes about difference in quality of the two programs before we were Wattasized. I have to be happy for the players, but even more upset about the situation
Cody Clements went 14/25 for 184 yards and 2TDs. Also threw a pick-6.

Gerald Everett, DJ Vinson, and Josh Magee were a combined 9 catches for 108 yards and 1 TD.

The difference is I have nothing against Georgia.

Riddle me this: If none of these schools had recruited any of our players, and the NCAA had not granted them immediate eligibility as transfers, we would have played a football game Saturday.

I agree that the NCAA has/had a more than just a minor role in closing our football program.

They had no role in closing the program. The did the right thing b the players based on the situation caused by watts and the bot

They sat by idly and watched the BOT assassinate our program. And the NCAA still hasn't granted a free transfer back to UAB for all of our former players. Watching and not intervening when there is obvious malfeasance, is complicity.
The big issue I have with the NCAA is they are allowing boosters of Alabama to control the athletic programs of a fellow institution in UAB.

On the flip side they are helping us in granting waivers as needed and will let us exceed the number per year we can recruit if needed.
