terrible, I am in the Lynchburg area and frequent bridgewater plaza a lot during the summer months....what the hell is wrong with people
Just heard about this on National News. Don't live in Va but I Didn't realize that she was a Madison grad.

it's chilling that it was on-air.
They were engaged to be married.

God Bless these two poor souls and their families... Having lived in Roanoke for a long time and going to Bridgewater Marina many times this hits close to home.. I hope they hang whomever did this... It's just a sad day to be a human when you see stuff like this...

Bridgewater Plaza in Moneta, VA.
Now the governor has stated the individual was identified and is a disgruntled employee of the news station.
My parents live about 10 mins away from Bridgewater Plaza. I've been there more times than I can remember. It's located off of one of the main roads used around SML. At night the place is absolutely packed, but during the morning the place is absolutely vacant. I've seen the video and it's unbelievably chilling. The gunman (who can be seen in the video) is wearing all dark clothes. I can't help but think this was premeditated (IMO). In a place that is usually so quiet this time of day- the guy had a plan. We'll know more in the coming days, but I hope they catch this guy before anyone else is hurt and I hope they make him pay dearly for what he's done.
So very sad and heartbreaking.

Still heresay at this time. Crandall is a HUGE figure down in this area. If true... wow. As for Orlando- he's known to stir the pot- for good and for bad. My wife has had to deal with him on several occasions. He is a guy always looking for dirt.. even if there is none to be found. He was viewed as a pest. Take that as you will.
Wouldn't surprise me either way if this was 100% true or a complete farce. The jury is still out.
