Quote:Southern California coach Steve Sarkisian apologized Sunday for his appearance at a booster event the night before in which he allegedly appeared under the influence of alcohol.

Though the apology wasn't specific in nature, reports from attendees of the "Salute to Troy" party began to circulate on Twitter and USC fan message boards overnight, indicating that Sarkisian had to be pulled off stage by athletics director Pat Haden during a profanity-filled speech in which he allegedly was slurring his words.

Video of the incident has not yet surfaced.

Pressure of cocktail hour and an open bar is more likely.

No, its definitely the pressure of facing Fredi Knighten. See, if USC loses the game now, Sarkisian could potentially lose his job.

That's pressure.

Shouldn't that dragon have a smoldering coal in it's mouth instead of a white hot plasma?
F-ckin A' Man! Lets do it!
You can do it, ASU.
Nothing like a good ole distraction to lead into a great upset!

I believe there should be a press conference with Sark telling everyone why he decided to get drunk before the rally......announce that he is going to AA and that he was an idiot.......Think about it he has a pep rally in front of A LOT of people and probably was the first of the year....so he says to himself....Self: If I get drunk with some other coaches or friends of mine I can go out there and show all these young punks I can get drunk toooooo and I like it....then I can cuss maybe get a DUI and really impress my bosses at how COOL I AM.." " Self, are there any downside to this....NOPE NONE I CAN SEE SARK..Ok I am in.....drunk it is"

Then he can say I have put an addendum on my contract if I act like that again that I will undergo drug testing and breath analyzer and if found under influence I will voluntarily resign without pay and become WKU head coach the following year."

Sorry could not pass on old Coach P...and his Hog years...
Maybe he got drunk if he has an Ashley Madison account and found out it was compromised.

So he thinks nothing of StAtE but has all of the respect in the world for Troy University Athletics?
I've been reading tweets about him possibly being suspended first two games (stAte and idaho game) this season

Credible sources haven't said anything along those lines yet but with as many boosters he's pissed off I wouldn't be surprised
The funny thing is they wouldn't hire Orgeron(sp) because of his antics.
been a bad week for him, last week his top qb recruit, quit the team and is transferring, he lasted all of a month, guess he knows a sinking ship when he sees one.
USC has banned alcohol in the locker room. That's like having a warning label for something because one person out of 10 million did the one stupid thing no one else would do.
