As far as I know there wasn't any sort of ticket giveaway for that game last year.

As long as the weather is decent we should have 45000

We had 44,000 for the home opener two season ago. That was coming off of a 4 win season.

I second this. There were hardly any MTSU fans here last season. They don't even go to the games in Murfreesboro so they're sure not going to follow their team on the road.

We will be there and my 3 year old son will be at his first game- so count one more!

Unfortunately we have MTSU alumni that live in Memphis

A lot of people really wanted to see us beat MTSU last year after losing to them so many years in a row. I wouldn't go so far as to say it was a rivalry game, exactly. But there was some bad blood there.

We got about 38K for UTC, a similar opponent, under similar circumstances for the home opener in 2004. I'd bet we get about that for Mo. State and that if I'm surprised, it's not by much more than 3,000 or so.

I'm still pissed off about the refs blowing that call where the ball hit the ground first but they ruled it a catch. Don't even know why I remember it so clearly but still...

There will be Kroger tickets, so there will be many thousands more than there would have been without Kroger tickets.

Accuweather is showing sunny with a high of 81. I know it's a long way out but that would be perfect
