Clean look. Y'all, WKU, and GT rock that Russell athletic gear well.

Funny to me how it isn't "cool" just because the logo. I always like what RA puts out.
Nice...
Looks good
RA schools - do you have any contract details? Interested because ODU recently switched from Nike to UA. Think it's probably a lateral move from the prospective of football recruits. Definitely a step back in the eyes of hoops recruits. Oh well. Got a better deal with UA.

This is year 3 of a 5 year $2.75 million deal we signed with Russell in April 2013. That's almost 4 times what we were getting from Nike.
Sweet unis indeed. Gonna look great on the field when the Cajuns and USM square off in this year's New Orleans Bowl. 60,000 strong!04-cheers
I absolutely love the road set. The grey on the home set is going to take some getting used to, but I like the look.

I'm glad to see that busy striping on the helmets finally retired. That trend had come & gone a long time ago. The outlined wordmark is sleek as heck & is reminiscent of the Collier-era "uSm" logo, but I'm afraid it's just going to look like a smudge on TV. I'll be glad when we finally just put the eagle head on there.

Of course, the biggest win is never seeing those g***d***ed, stupid-a**ed, ridiculous f***ing bi-colored pants again.
Those look great. Cant believe they are Russell. Sharp.

I like them! MT is a Nike school. I'm curious what everyone else is?

You think Russell came up with something that nice on their own? We had USM alum Rodney Richardson of RARE Design work with Russell on the new uniforms. He also designed our new logo and has worked with a lot of pro teams.
WKU is Russell and the fact that they are based in Bowling Green

Charlotte is Nike. Our Baseball team was UA but I think that after we signed the football contract with Nike the who AD went Nike as part of the deal.

How long has Russel been in bg? I know years ago they had quite a complex near Auburn al complete with a golf course and condos. When they were the big name coaches used to use their complex for summer getaway "meetings".

I wouldnt think that was a lateral move for football. UA has gained alot of ground in recent years and actually has better quality stuff than nike.

Fruit of the loom headquarters is in Bowling Green. And since they own Russell, WKU has benefited very well from that. WKU is to Russell what Oregon is to Nike. (I know I know)... But when we got our new football uniforms the CEO was there to present them and said no one else would be able to get them for another year or two because it was a brand new line with a new type of material they had come up with. Looks like USM is getting hooked up with that nice material now. Not sure if GT got it yet. I know our players and recruits love them.

Last numbers I saw. Russell pays WKU roughly $1.2 million per year for apparel rights. Most CUSA schools get about 400k annually for apparel rights from whomever they have. Just helps WKU having Fruit of the Loom headquarters 5 minutes down the road. Their uniforms are pretty good. The complaint WKU fans have with Russell is the fan apparel.

I have heard rumors UA is making a big push to try to get WKU. But that they will have to exceed Russell's current levels in money and apparel for WKU officials to even think about it. That is extremely unlikely to happen. Though the current deal with Russell expires after this season I believe.
