Over the weekend, we heard that Joe was being encouraged to run. Now the CEO of Starbucks is being encouraged.

Are the Dems worried about the Hill?

I'll bet that before long, we'll be hearing a chorus for Elizabeth Warren.

Thing is, time is running out for declaring.
Warren should run. Nobody is excited about Hill, they just want to get the first woman president out of the way like the first black president.

Worried about Hillary? No. She would still beat any of the gaggle of right wingers running.
Come on in, Joe. There's plenty of room on the democratic short bus for ya.

I'd vote for Hilldawg in the primary so I didn't feel at all guilty if Warren won the nomination. She's an airhead. I don't care if she's Native American.
At this point I find myself far more concerned with wanting Hilldawg to beat Bernie and/or Liz on the democrat side than I am about what republican gets the nod (unless, of course, that happened to be Rand, but I just don't see that as a realistic possibility).

Here's an idea: Let's elect a competent candidate. I have no problem electing a member of any demographic, so long as I had a modicum of confidence they knew what the hell they were doing.

Why would anyone want to invest in Warren's Amerika? And if we can't attract investment, how do we grow the economy?

So we won't see you running any time soon. COGS
If they were smart the big money should call Evan Bayh, he works in DC now for McGuirre Woods.

Relax, Rob. I ruled you out a long time ago, but then I've scratched you from changing light bulbs, too.
The more people participate the better.

The "anointed" process only screws everybody over in the long run.

Republicans have been guilty of nominating the "It's my turn" candidate for a while. That'd be Jeb, IMO.

If Hillary isn't the Dem's "It's my turn" candidate, I guess I'll have to retire the phrase.

If the only requirement is a ****** and libs aren't excited about Hillary, why don't the liberals just back Carly Fiorina? She has the right equipment.

I gotta agree with ol' smoke breath here. Give me someone who knows to wind their watch and scratch their ass, not the other way around. Give me someone who understands if you only have $100, don't spend $1000. Give me someone who will try to work both sides and come to an agreement that doesn't better all those in DC, but the majority of the country. I'm tired of the finger pointing, mud slinging, and political bullspit we got going.

I agree. It's one reason I dislike Jeb.

He's only running so he isn't the only one in the family that didn't get to be President.
