Looks good.
Don't like it. I'd rather see the full page instead of the wide blue margins.

One of my big gripes is the quality of the photos on the Facilities page http://www.utrockets.com/ViewArticle.dbm...M_ID=18000, which is a shame since there are so many good ones out there.

The photo of the Larimer Center is from before it was completed with only bare earth around the building. Couldn't there be a newer picture by now?
And the pictures of Larimer and the Sullivan Athletic Complex aren't live links to other pictures and information such as the weight room. This is one of the first places that recruits go, and I think it should be a priority, especially after putting $5 million into Larimer.
I like the amazing departure from clutter that seems to predominate sports (and university) websites AS LONG AS, I can get at things of interest efficiently. They seem to have accomplished that also. Everything I could quickly think of that I would want to find, I found quickly. Nicer to look at and easier to navigate. A good fan-central.

"Wide margins" There is some unused landscape but since I like the uncluttered look, it works for me on the laptop. The view on a phone might be rather small. A difficult compromise. Any widening of the photos would also be a lengthening and they're already nearly off the screen. They'd have to decrease the fonts and logo in the header to get more vertical space.

Suggestions I might make,

one of those drop-downs (Support UT?) to have links to popular sites where fans can interact, sites like this one.

Upcoming events calendar with quick links to tickets, with the information for that event already filled in.

it's not clear that there is material below the screen.

Looked over the new roster and I didn't see any mention of Darrion Landry from Blinn Jr. College??????

Oh, and on THIS website, I'd have separate "reply" and "quote" options for Steve in Joysey, lol. 03-wink

Actually, I'd have separate "reply" and "quote" options just because it's a good idea.
Yeah. On the previous site you could scroll the whole page, so it was much easier to view the content. On this one I have a big stationary banner at the top and some sort of banner at the bottom that pops up and doesn't go away. Between the two it obscures too much content. If the goal is to annoy then it works pretty well. Maybe they're still working on it, though.
I actually love that photo of the Glass Bowl, dunno if thats what you are talking about
I know Im inept with technology but I would have expected a much more robust photo display of our facilities. What about up-to-date Larimer photos? A 360 degree of Savage? The Savage training room, weights, locker rooms? Asking too much? Looks like a MAC tie in to Sidearm Sports is a little under delivering IMHO.
My bad... instead of going to the Facilities tab to see Savage photos you actually have to go to Mens BBall, go to Savage and then there are pictures. Wondering why not when you go to our facilities page? When you go to FB there are NO pic of Glass Bowl? This needs a little clean up im guessing.

I guess so. Now I'm getting the webpage inside itself. I see the whole top banner, then below that, I see it again then below that the headlines, upcoming events tabs....

I did read on twitter that if you have Internet Explorer you need to have IE 9 or IE 10 for the website to be viewed properly. That must make sense to someone.

I'm getting the same effect on IE 11 and Firefox. Oddly enough, print preview shows it as it should be but a print screen shows the error on both browsers.

No one else having this problem? It was working fine for me this morning.
412!!
Great article! Nice to have this kind of press in Pittsburgh since we seem to have established a good recruiting base here.

Good...glad its not me. I am no expert but this is NOT that great of a site IMHO. Hope the kinks are out before long.
Anyone else having problems with the UTRockets mobile app on Iphone 4s, Iphone 5c or Ipad air? Getting "fetch" errors saying that it needs to be connected to the internet. Happened on all our devices about the time the new website was rolled out. Coincidence?
I do like the REAL Toledo logo at the top of the page.

With all of these people we have in the Larimer Building working on videos, it would be cool to put together a video walk-through of the football and basketball facilities. I've seen these for other schools, and they should be a good recruiting tool for the web site.
Mobile App does not work for me also. It would be nice to know what has to be done to correct this situation.
