To be named the Bower Academic Excellence Center. The projected cost is $2 million and about $1.15 million has already been raised.
The Bower Academic Center sounds a lot better than the Tyndall Academic Center.
Very proud that Coach Bower is being honored.
This should help heal a lot of old wounds at Southern Miss.

The Tyndall Fried Food Trough is scheduled to open in October.
It is rumored that the Bower family gave more than half of the almos 1.2mill that has been raised so far.

I wonder if they will follow La Techs lead and beg the students to pay for it?
As much money as I spent there as a student, I'd hope for a brick to say gdunn somewhere.. But I doubt it, HA.

On a serious note, I'm happy this is going up.
