Based on the MAC media poll they must, IMO, feel:

(a) replacing the entire OL will not be that big of challenge

(b) the secondary will be vastly improved

© the front seven on defense will be among the best in the MAC

(d) offensive production will continue at a high level

(e) special teams play will perform well

(f) home field advantage will be a big factor
While the OL is coming together some good kicking and punting would help out a lot.

g) do not give much thought to all of the above when casting their vote.

The CMU butt-whipping in DeKalb and the Marshall Bowl massacre must of loomed large in the voters' brains.

Regarding the replacements on the OL, in talking to one of the coaches at the Wednesday evening Larimer get together, he said that the left side of the line should be Storm Norton at tackle and Ruben Carter at guard. That's 600+ pounds of experience guarding the QB's back side. The right side should be open to competition.

Maybe with the biased MAC voters but not the national media.
