"Dragassing" with regard to UAB athletics is what the present UAB and the UA System administrations do best. That is why as UAB approaches its 20th anniversary in D1 (FBS) football, we are still waiting for our first new facility to support the preparation of its players in its history. Legion Field, with all its derogatory descriptions, remains UAB's most modern all weather practice facility for the foreseeable future. Will that still be true in 2020?
