My head might explode if that actually happened. When do they decide?
Let's get it trending! #BringCollegeGameDayToODU
We'll be coming down for that game. Should be crazy!!!
I'm not shocked but disappointed that ODU assistants are tweeting a Bleacher Report article, probably from a 15 yr old kid, that is speculating this.

Correct me if I am wrong, but ESPN Game Day will not come if the game is televised on a rival network...

ODU received TWO games with FOX, which they receive actual money from each year as part of their C-USA TV contracts. Now they are causing a mini hysteria over a BS article. Watch FOX and C-USA slap our hands by taking our game vs Western Kentucky off the air altogether.

I want to say that they've done Gameday at a game they weren't broadcasting, but it think it was two top-5 teams or something equally epic.

I'd be shocked if ODU-Western Kentucky rose to the level of Gameday. It'd take two undefeated teams playing at the end of the season for ESPN to send the crew to a G5 conference game. And even then, it'd be a long shot.

Last years regular season had 10 weeks at ESPN controlled games (counting an NDSU home game that was simulcast from the Fargo NBC station to ESPN3) and 5 weeks from non-ESPN games (6, if you count Army-Navy)

Did they a G5 vs. G5 game last season (not counting Army-Navy)? I'm trying to remember the last one they did; presuming it was a Boise State game. I know they do North Dakota State every season.

On top of the NDSU game, they did Army/Navy last season and Yale/Harvard for non-P5 games. Here is a list of all locations through the years;

That list is what I used (with the TV channel listings from mattsarz's website)

Last true G5 game was SMU at #11 Houston in 2011. (was a FSN broadcast)

I'm not positive but the only other CUSA hosted game I saw was USF-Army in 2003.
Don't get your hopes up fellas.
wouldn't that be just awesome if College Gameday chose the matchup with either VCU, GMU or JMU? ... no wait! LOL
