Jonesboro is sending a full radio crew for 5 hours of live coverage Monday. Should have all 11 head coaches plus Great Leader again, a few AD's as well. Full list will be out end of this week.

Why cant the SBC stream a whole day on the SBC site?
If you want to be important, you have to act important. The SBC should be doing anything to get media coverage. I think it's awesome that Jonesboro will have coverage, other SBC cities and states need coverage. The SBC should be inviting radio stations, TV stations and print media from the proper cities. If there is no TV outlet, then create one, even if it's just Internet.

Everyone who is listed as media for each school is invited.
I remember years ago our fans would call the biggest paper in the state complaining about things not covered. They usually said "we didn't know about it" this would then spur message board rants wanting to know why they couldn't email stuff to them. I'd pull up the latest release email I had received and sure enough three different people at the paper had been sent the release.
It is rarely a sender failure, it is usually a receiver failure.
A few years ago we did an online only media day. Lot of the local press didn't like it because it was the rare trip their employer would pay for that wasn't a game but we had record high participation from national press.
Ideally we should have the event but include streaming and a way for the folks like USA Today who won't spend money on travel to participate electronically.
TXST will have our play by play team there. I hope and assume this means there will be some coverage on the university radio station. Usually our local newspaper goes as well.

I know last year, the PbP guys did like a 5 part podcast about the media day.... Don't recall it making it on the KTSW radio, though.
I'm hopeful for a similar deal.
