The @JOXRoundtable sends our prayers to the family/fans of Ben Cook after his passing today. One of the treasures in our stations legacy.
I always enjoyed his writing...
I am deeply saddened by Ben's passing. He was a wonderful person and a friend to many.
Ben was always entertaining without the hostility of a Finebaum. He gave well reasoned opinions so that if you disagreed with him, you at least knew why he said what he said. His sports writing was at a high level and very readable. I will miss him when football returns to UAB.
RIP, Ben. I always enjoyed reading Ben's articles.

Amen to that. One of the best.
One of the nicest guys I have ever met in my lifetime. Rest in peace Ben.
