Pastner recruits talented player to Memphis. 2) For whatever reason, talented player has a disappointing end. 3) Talented player transfers (Tarik Black) or drops to the second round (Will Barton) or isn’t drafted at all (Adonis Thomas, Joe Jackson) or you get the general idea. So, no, this isn’t about Iverson, per se. This is about a trend. That’s why the tweets resonated the way they did Wednesday. It was about the message, not the messenger.

Weird isnt it?

Hard to sit and watch one guy slowly nuke the program, guess he has us over a barrell with that large buyout, the guy is simply not a division 1 major college coach...it's pretty simple!!

This is Jupiter calling.

There were whales that offered to pay it. Some whales, closer to Josh, were opposed. Rudd said no.

Wonder if lying to your athletic director about how the matter unfolded and purposely dragging a young man through a media cluster**** is enough for termination for cause?

it would go to court and we probably don't want that.

The program is in a bad place. But, to say he isn't a D1 coach is crazy, no disrespect. He HAS coached a major D1 program into the NCAA tourney many times. We all want more than one or two wins. Most places would love that, but it is not good enough for Memphis. We expect more, and we should. He will do well at another school, he needs a fresh start somewhere.
You guys are funny. JP will probably get fired after this season, but pointing out how awesome his recruits (supposedly) were is a joke. Y'all act like he's been coaching Jordan's dream team.

Fire him for a lot of reasons, but not for being unable to turn a 5'10" SG into an NBA All Star.

Yeah...just thinking out loud. You'd think I'd have learned my lesson about that by now.
its a good idea for any other business though.
