Considering some previous statements put out by Coach Patterson, I do pay attention to what comes out of TCU. They are rather open with these situations.

They seem to be playing a role in the public masquerade. It doesn't matter so much what is said, just that opposing viewpoints are made publicly by big 12 Institutional officials.

The funniest scene ever on TV ... Baghdad Bob reassuring the locals all was well while American tanks raced across the screen behind him.

The truth is stranger than fiction.
No way Del Conte says stay at 10. So here's the plan schedule 1 FCS, 1 terrible FBS, and 1 blase P5 team and win your conference when the heaviest hitters with most cache are down and you're in. Their 2015 football schedule is virtually identical. Their 2016 schedule has the same setup, with the exception that Arkansas is their P5 team.
TCU...LOL

Now that they are in the club, easy to say.

That dbag wouldn't be saying this if he was in the MWC hoping for B12 expansion.
TCU has no influence in the Big 12.

But.... DavidSt says TCU wants expansion.

They don't have a vote huh? Sure thing Coog.
They have a vote, yes, but those with influence in the Big 12 are schools like OU and UT.

At the end of the day, they'll vote the way they're told to vote by UT and/or OU, especially if they're concerned that not expanding means that OU bolts along with a few others which weakens the Big 12 assuming it survives.

03-zzz

They will vote the way they are told to vote? Kind of like when no one voted with UT in regards to starting the first ever conference network that Texas proposed?

Right....

Tech and OU didn't want TCU. We both wanted Louisville.

I stand by what I've written.

Neither does Houston. I'll take an AD at a P5 conference word over a poster representing a G5 conference.
Chris is a well respected AD

One thing's for sure. With these comments, there's no way that anyone has been talking to Cincinnati. And they might not if Tuberville keeps bad-mouthing the Big 12.

Interesting

Tubs told us he has heard if the Big 12 doesn't expand as David Boren said it should it could be absorbed into the other Power 5 conferences
9:05 AM - 29 Jun 2015

Boren is setting this up nicely. Expand or we are gone

Wow. Can't believe he would say some of that stuff. I agree that he must be out of the loop to come out and make statements about other conferences chances of getting in the playoff.

Come off as a jealous X.

I don't represent a G5 conference, the University of Houston, or any NCAA entity.

Here, have fun with this....

Sources: If Big 12 expands, look for Houston to top candidates list not BYU. Probably a pipe dream, but Big 12 would love a Nebraska return.

Some Big 12 officials have quietly studied UH and are impressed with potential.

@GoPokesBF @ DaveSittler yes because UH alums in the Texas legislature > Texas, Tech & TCU.

@DaveSittler there is absolutely zero chance the current Big12 membership votes in another Texas school. TCU only in because of desperation.

Because BYU would enhance problem WVa location has already created.

@DaveSittler BYU not in discussion because of location?! Location didn't stop WVU, Why would it stop BYU? What other items?

@DaveSittler so you think UH and Cincy?

If you don't know who Dave Sittler is, check him out.
Coogs--please listen. Boren is telling UT to expand or else.

OU is setting the stage to leave and let the hopefuls down easy. OU had 20 years to schedule UH and they declined until recently. They scheduled UH at NRG Stadium in a kickoff classic and get a return game in Norman. No game at TDECU

OU is not in UH's favor anymore than they are Memphis, Cincy etc.
