Compare FB, BB, and WBB against just about anybody and they beat them. And when you consider how little they have won in any of those sports it's even more amazing.
To answer your question yes. But it will be after OU and others leave.
I think UCONN has the WBB schtick cornered... and i hate UCONN
Add up all 3 sports average and you will see ISU doubles UConn fan support. And ISU has not won anything in any of those sports like UConn has.
If ISU had a recent BB NC, WBB NC, and a FB CC with BCS appearance they would be expanding the football stadium over 100k with BB at over 25k and WBB at 15k+.
ISU fans are the best all around fans IMO.
I agree..... Iowa State has never won big at football and their basketball has had some success, but nothing really outstanding. However, they have tremendous fan uppport. They just expanded their fooball stadium to the third largest in the Big12 and they had few winning seasons, but their fans come to their games in droves.
Not only do they attend the games, they are among the most hospitable fans you will find anywhere. Same goes for basketball with a 14,500 seat arena they pack them in.
Surprised to hear about Iowa State being the third largest after expansion, and it is correct:
Texas (100,119)
Oklahoma (82,112)
Texas Tech (60,454)
Oklahoma State (60,218)
West Virginia (60,000)
Iowa State (55,000) - going to 61,000
Kansas (50,071)
K-State (50,000)
Baylor (45,000)
TCU (45,000)
However, that is a bunch of small stadiums for a P5 conference. BYU would step in with the third largest stadium in the conference. Kind of puts some of the knocks against including BYU in the Big 12 in perspective. Really shows it is Texas, Oklahoma, and everyone else.
Having said that, I would much rather talk scoreboard smack than attendance smack. We can only do that with Texas and Oklahoma.
Boise State is going up to 53,000 seats.

Georgia Southern 25000 +, if they continue the rise like they did last year in attendance? They could expand even more.
