I saw it. The site looks like some sort of fan site where the dude makes mock ups. I could be wrong but it could be Coach Scott just retweeting it for buzz. I doubt we have an ALL Black combo this upcoming season.

Well, success noted! He got my attention. Haha. I think it'd look sharp.

Yup. Just went to the site and it is really repetitive. The all black with every NFL team, a bunch of college teams, etc. They all look the same. Logo in silver, helmet in black.

Very sharp looking. Reminds me of a Shelby GT Mustang.

I'd like it better if it was a different ODU logo on the helmet. The black and white version of that one just doesn't do it for me.

I'd like to see one with that logo on a blue helmet, but I like the direction they're going with it.

Please no. These are worse than the all white helmets from two years ago and that white helmets from last years that we "borrowed" from Navy and I wanted to sink both of them in the Elizabeth.

Call me a stick in the mud, but black isn't one of our primary colors and I'm not really a fan of the black alternate jersey for any sports teams. Blue and Silver!

I love the two-tone helmet and I'm glad it's coming back next year. It's a sharp look. Much better than the state helmets.

But I agree, we shouldn't do a black helmet.

Love the logo, but please, no black.

So glad others agree. I hate the black. We are Big Blue not Big Black!!! I noticed on this year "Style Guide" no black fashion statements.

At the coaches caravan B. Wilder said we would probably only have a blue jersey and a white jersey this season due to the timing of the UA deal. I have to think that there will be no black jersey/helmet this year.

They look good in blue, white, and silver as well. To each his own.

I love the silver unis. The silver/black combo at JMU was an awful combination visibly, but the team played like it meant business in them - helped put them in the correct mindset. At Towson, the silvers were also effective. Just think the team is a little nastier in that color.

Black was pretty cool in 2005.

I agree. I did think the JMU combo was strange at first but as the game went on I came to love it. The Towson game was sweet as well. The grays look best at night or darker weather. The combo we wore against Pitt was one of my favorites, with the ones we wore against Delaware a close second (in regards to the grey combos we've worn over the years)
