No real new insights, but unless I've missed something, this is the first time I've seen Clark quoted anywhere since June 1.

I hate to tell you this Smaug, but those are quotes from Balch's statement on June 1. The silence shall continue until a contract is inked.
Even so, It was still nice to see.
Yes it was. I hope that after the contract is signed, Bill does a big presser at Iron City (the Green and Gold Room would be a nice Plan B if Ingram doesn't eat all the McAlister's cookies). It would be powerful and motivating for our ranks to hear from him.
What it restates is that for most of the nation, UAB's story of program destruction on Dec.2nd, 2014 was the first and only information most had about UAB"s financial troubles and then only what the administration wished them to know. The total picture many of us know of the almost two decades vendetta by the system BOT of attacking its finances, blocking its facilities construction or improvements, carrying on a "back UAB and you are anti Crimson Tide" rhetoric , and other such behavior was never brought to national attention.

Now we are left to pick up the pieces and dig our way out of a hole with the President assuring us that we cannot count on any help from his administration (or his employers).
