Great info Mike. I'd think you have to say St Johns would be the favorite to win the baseball title as well. From what I have seen it seems that have the best squad.

louisville and Notre Dame=own Big east

13 out of 22 championships is impressive.
Tom Jurich has a lot to be proud of with ULs sports programs. To even come close to challenging Notre Dame's supremacy in the Big East olympic sports is a great accomplishment. ND has always had the best sports program in the league and its great to see someone beat them for a few titles

A sportscaster on local radio here last night said the thought and heard that Notre Dame has an entitlement mentality when it comes to the BEast. They think they should be handed it all. I get that sense too. They are prima donas. Though I like UofL to be winning everything, I'd like to see a few more teams competing for champs as well.

Louisville is starting a Women's Lacrosse program from scratch (so go easy on us for a little bit 03-melodramatic)

But what does this sentence below from UofL's website mean; are we going to be in the BE standings or not in the Spring of 2008?

"The Cards' first varsity season will be in 2008 and will include a partial BIG EAST schedule, while the 2009 season will be UofL's first full season of BIG EAST competition".
