Kemy played quite a few minutes the year before he redshirted. And contributed well. Remember that he tore up his knee, and that probably accounted for sitting out last season. He will still have two years to play, so he could be a vital part of the program.
Stetson has never played much. He's a hard working young man who deserves a chance, which I'm sure Coach Beard will give him. If he ends up playing a reasonable amount of minutes this year, I would expect him back for his fifth year. If not, I would assume he'll graduate and either play somewhere else or get on with his life after basketball.
I appreciate both of these young men and hope they can elevate their games to the point where they will get a lot of minutes. I've always thought Kemy had the potential to be a really strong player for us.
And I have mentioned before that I thought Stetson could have a good year, but with all the signings of players who potentially play the same position, I'm not sure now. Guess we'll find out in time, right?
