Could be as soon as this morning. Wasn't sure if it would be made public today though.

Good luck, Blazers, from everyone at Blue Raider Zone. I'll be down for the first game if there is one.
If they make the decision before 4pm today, then they are keeping the program's dead. They are afraid of big donor pledges at the last hour putting them past the ever moving number to reinstate. They are going to try and beat the big donors to the punch by saying, "You never made your pledge. How were we supposed to know you were donating $1 million."

I always thought they will never reinstate the program's even if we came up with $200 million.

They are a bunch of inbred crooked good ol boys.

I'm counting the days to when I leave this horrible state.
Maybe they are announcing it at the ongoing freshman orientation.
What does Kurre know. His insider info is no different than anyone else's.

I understand your frustration and disappointment. There are a lot of good things about our state, despite its shortcomings. There are also good people. Many wear green and gold.

This.
You guys are definitely in the thoughts of Buc fans. No matter what is said today, never stop fighting for it. With the backwards slack jaws we had to deal with that kept saying "well ya got UT and Va. Tech" to the excuse makers that ran our institution, we continued to fight on multiple fronts. We had very diplomatic folks (like Dr. Jerry Robertson, former falcons coach Mike Smith, and various others) to us message board folks who continued to Question budgets, intellect, competency, and everything we could. It took 12 years with minimal resources and a city that didnt care. You guys have a city behind you, a huge alumni base, and overall more resources.
You will win, it may not be today, or even next week. But if you fight for it, you'll win.
Ray Watts legacy is this. Any good he might have done is gone. Our former president (Paul Stanton) was a brilliant heart surgeon who saw a college of pharmacy and digital media start up. He oversaw new dorms, a beautiful library, Center for Physical Activity, and many other great things. Hes known for killing football, and nobody likes him.
Stay hungry. You'll get it back.
He just said decision is coming Monday from a source knows at UAB. I trust Attalla before I trust Kurre.
Captain obvious Tony Kurre really hasn't said anything at all. He claims the decision will be made today, but immediately throws in the disclaimer he doesn't know if it will be announced until Monday.

It's always possible that a disc jockey will know before the dozens of admins and staff who help us behind the scenes.
Moving up the date just as the commercial hits the air...coincidence?
So it's back if the BOT wants it.

Nothing new there.
He says Watts has been convinced to return UAB football. But says decision must be approved by BOT.

Take this rumor with a grain of salt by if true what's the deal? The decision to end UAB football was claimed by both Watts and BOT to be Watts decision. Now Watts may apparently be saying the final decision lies with BOT??

Hot potato!
Well if worst case happens today and the decision is made by the BOT then we have our smoking gun.

I'm sure if true the majority of BOT members will try to convince those 3 against UAB from making a decision against footballs return. Because you're right. It now could paint the BOT into a corner if you have all of the mounting support for footballs return including maybe even Ray Watts and then the BOT rules against footballs return.
