you must have good relations with AAU coaches. I know some coaches don't like dealing with these coaches, but it's the way of the world. As someone pointed out, the Kentucky assistant Billy Payne, who is making $700,000 a year, obviously has contacts with potential one and dones.
That's why he's getting the big bucks.

I believe Coach Beard is of the new breed, who understands what it takes to recruit in today's environment. And let's face it. Recruiting is what makes great coaches. I believe this staff is able to function in today's recruiting environment, and that's why this program is going to take a big step forward, IMHO.

So what does everybody NOW think of this new coach and his ability to recruit..............????????

Looks good on paper and they sound good. Now all we have to do is wait and see what they can do in the Sun Belt.
