I think you know who I would choose.....UT! :D I want them BAD....for a number of reasons. 1) I'm from that part of the world and it would make for an even bigger and better party with friends, as if it needed to be any better. 2) We matchup well with them I think, thus giving us a little better shot. 3) The Eli theory. Just when you thought Eli was going to miss playing his brother's former school by one year, ooops, he has an outside shot. Man, would that be a great story line?
Second would be Georgia, for the simple fact that they are riddled with injury. And lastly, Florida of course. It's hard to beat a team twice in a row but nearly impossible three times. Plus, they have awakened and are a completely new team.

I too would rather play Tennesse because of my oldest son being an avid volunteer fan. I think Tennesse is the weakest of the three. If we are ever going to beat Georgia, I think this would be the year. They are weaker than they have been in a long time. Florida is the one I would be scared up. They are getting stronger as the season proceeds. I just want the chance to play any of them. Bring'em on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Following my whole "no excuses" logic, I of course picked Florida.
They seem to be the class of the East this year and I would welcome the chance to put another foot in their arse.

Gator fans annoy me, so I wouldn't want them invading my fair city for Peach Bowl weekend.
Tennessee just ain't gonna happen since they were here last year.

This is for the SEC Championship Game, Lucy, not the Peach Bowl.
But your points are well taken.
had to vote for TN, it would be too perfect for Eli to beat Peyton's old team in his next to last game as a Rebel in the SEC Championship. Plus, I think they are the easiest to beat.
I make a suggestion to change the rules.
Say for example if Florida wins the east and Ole Miss wins the west.
The SEC championship game wouldn't be played and
Ole Miss would automatically be SEC Champs because we have already beaten Florida.
What do yall think? :D
I think TN would be harder to beat than the others, maybe Fla. would be the most difficult challenge since they'd be out for revenge and all.
I think we matchup worse with UT simply because they have those big O-linemen and they'd blow our D off the line the whole game, rack up about 275 on the ground, their speedy receivers would help Clausen get about 300 through the air and it would all add up to watching Eli see the game from the sidelines.
Plus, all that friggin' TN orange would overwhelm us and have us psychologically unfit to play. UT fans are the most obnoxious in my opinion. The Eli/Peyton story does, however, have an interesting appeal. I still, though, believe they are best in the East right now nevermind what UGA did to them.
I'd go on and say UGA would be the best opponent for us but then again this is all academic because we ain't gonna make it there!

I'm with KD1, ain't goin to happen anyhow. Don't get all worked up over nuthin. LSU 40 UM 10, Mistake 23 UM 12. Lsu to Championship and a win over Ga.

I'd like to play Tennessee strictly because we haven't played them this year. Secondly, Florida because I think with their "newfound" team that beat us 19-7, another revenge matchup for LSU would be a great game. Lastly, Georgia; the Bulldogs nearly beat us in our own stadium this year. I was so proud of LSU for that win, but I'm not in the mood to lose my voice again yelling for my team. Don't get me wrong, I'd do anything for the Tigers, but laringitis sucks.
