ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGH!

Good game Coogs! Hope y'all still host!
AAC baseball *tournament* champions. If we would have won today, we wouldn't of said we're the AAC baseball regular season champions and the AAC baseball champions. Congrats on your 5 day hot streak, we all saw who proved it over 24 games. 05-stirthepot

All kidding aside, if I'm Vandy, Miami, Florida, or Florida State, I'm sh*tting myself hoping I don't draw ECU as my #2.
Hunter Allen named tournament MVP
Grats to Houstons regilar season win and ECUs well earned tournament win. Both teams scary good! Happy AAC competition was so fun this year

you beat us by 1 effing game in the regular season. Had the luxury of that series at home as well. It's so funny to hear announcers talk about your program like it's light years ahead of ours. 24-23 now alltime series, very close but in our favor. We have both won both championship games head to head right? Oh and that one in football too, we basically own Houston when it matters.
I saw it last night. 23-23 all time series record, our first year in a new conference, Cliff Godwin a LeClair product. Just so many signs saying it was ECU's day. 2002 CUSA tournament, ECU's first year in CUSA facing UH, Keith LeClair coaching, Cliff Godwin was our catcher.#23 was smiling on the Pirates today.

Season series was 2-2 but more like 2.5-2. 04-cheers

Also we're now 23 in the RPI. Charleston or Coastal may jump over FAU depending on what happens in CUSA so it may be us or UVA (22) as the Radford #2 host.

Y'all's pitcher today was so very under control... Congrats ECU
Congratulations East Carolina Pirates on the Tourny Championship!!!!

Good luck at your next stop.
Congratulations Pirates and Pirate fans. Best wishes and best of luck in the NCAA playoffs, and the same for all conference mates in the tourney.

good feeling! ECU has more than just a football team...every little bit helps. I'll take it!
Great win against a great Houston team! Really excited for the future of Pirate baseball with CG at the helm. Here's hoping for 4 AAC teams in the tournament and hopefully one can get into the College World Series!

congrats ECU
Split Series
Aggregate score: 23-15 Houston

Very interesting that the loser in every game only scored 1 run

Yup, our pitchers weren't on point today and it cost us a second trophy
Honestly believe if these teams play 10 times on a neutral field it would be 5-5. Congrats ECU, lots of pressure today to get some hardware and they still took care of business.

Both teams are winners today, with UH earning a host.
Considering the fact that when Cliff Godwin took over I was hoping to simply limp into the NCAA Tournament as 4 seed, I am beyond excited that he took a team mired in mediocrity and won 40 games, AAC Championship and locked up a #2 Seed. 04-cheers 04-cheers

Coach Godwin is known more for recruiting than coaching so can't wait to see what he can do with a team full of his players. What he accomplished this year will go a long ways towards locking in some solid recruits. I hope the Athletic Department and our Pirate Club big donors can figure out a way to pay Cliff and his staff because I have a feeling his name is going to come up for a lot of high profile vacancies in the future
