Non-Entitlement Conference home games vs P5/Notre Dame/BYU in 2015 football
1. AAC: (9) 8 home games vs P5. 1 vs ND & no home games with BYU
2. MWC: (9) 7 home games vs P5, 2 vs BYU
3. CUSA: (6)
4. MAC: (4)
5. Sun Belt: (2)

Indys

Army: (3)
BYU: (0) no home games vs P5 or Notre Dame
Wow, I can't believe BYU has no home games against the P5 next year. That can't sit well with the fans... maybe they will grow tired of independence soon and join the AAC. 02-13-banana
It figures: most MWC vs P5 home games are vs. Pac-12, just like most AAC vs P5 are against ACC.
Basically Big Ten, Big XII and SEC are not coming to your place... the punks!

Maybe if we can get our TV deal in the $6 million range and give them BYU TV for rebroadcasting rights that might be a possibility in the future. Imagine the TV value adding Army, BYU, CSU, and Air Force.

I think we missed our window with BYU. They have some pretty nice schedules shaping up 2-3 years out. I do think adding their Olympic sports along with a scheduling agreement (as part of a 6 team MW expansion division) is possible and would be a plus for the conference.

Cincinnati has Indiana, Nebraska and UCLA coming in future years plus Miami this year.

"Basically" that's true... Although Tulane did just get a 2:1 with Oklahoma

How are we tied with the MWC??? We have 8 and they have 7. I understand your lead-in sentence but the thread title is incorrect as BYU is not considered a P5 game.

Temple plays Penn State from the BIG.

And we've had 1:1's with Illinois, Purdue, and Oklahoma in the past half decade.

Imagine indeed, it has only been mentioned like 9,832,810 million times since 2013...lol.
UCONN has Mizzou; Illinois, Indiana and Tennessee (up in the air now) coming up at home, in addition to ACC (Cuse and UVA).

The SEC and the ACC have made 180s and declared BYU does count as a P5 school for scheduling purposes (the B1G, B12 & P12 don't care since they don't have rules requiring one OOC game vs a P5 school). However, in the SEC's case, Army also counts, lol.

I guess I should have been more clear and put AAC and MWC tied with most home game vs P5/Notre Dame/BYU. BYU counts as P5 according to the SEC and ACC. I did point out that AAC has 8 to the MWC's 7 against P5 (True P5 home games, no independents counted) it's all a little confusing in what counts and what doesn't these days.....

Good point:) I think going forward it's important to get as many cartel conference schools in YOUR stadium as possible. We all get away games, and Boise has gotten big neutral stadium games consistently, but getting them to come to your house is a much more difficult proposition. Going forward over the next 10 or so years, it appears that the AAC and MWC have at least double and triple the amount of home games vs p5 schools than the MAC, SB and CUSA....
ECU is due for a Charlotte P5 game soon...

BYU does not count as a P5 opponent for anyone. Some of the P5 conferences allow BYU to be scheduled as one of the required P5 OOC opponents, but that is only to fulfill SOS requirements. And that is only for the P5 conferences. BYU has no bearing of being P5 to the non-P5 conferences.

Notre Dame is P5. So you need to redo your chart to show all P5 including Notre Dame.

What about BYU pushes those conferences to view BYU in that light? If it is just SOS, shouldn't there be a list of teams in non-P5 conferences that are considered P5?

It's because they are Indy. They have a nc and it doesn't upset the current model. They need filler
