Did they kill the contract with Aspire? I bought my season tickets last year through one of their reps.
Not a bad idea at all.

But last in ticket sales? Note, nowhere in the article was season ticket sales mentioned, so the subject was total football sales. Didn't we average somewhere around 22K per game last year which I believe put us in the middle of the pack in C-USA? If we were in the middle of the pack in attendance last year, how could we be last in ticket sales?

While it would help if we were more aggressive in selling tickets, that would help, but the key to ticket sales is putting a good product on the field. Do that and the problem takes care of itself as Coach Clark proved last year.

However, I'll predict that the first home game when the UAB program comes back will have fantastic attendance regardless of who we play or how good the product is. It will also attract media from across the country.
Any strategy would be better than the previous strategy (i.e. nothing).
