Aspire will help UT with ticket sales, service, and marketing. They will develop an "On Campus Fan Relationship Center".

Don't we have people in the athletic department that are paid big money to do these jobs already?
I don't know if anyone is making big money but I've been a little disappointed with the cookie-cutter promotions we've gotten from these national companies. I think we should either handle things in-house or look locally for help with sales and marketing. Mudhens and Walleye people seem to do a good job.

Of course, the Walleye are in contention for a championship of some sort. That tends to help...
I am OK with this as long as ticket prices do not rise due to a pseudo or direct tax to support the Aspire contract. I am only OK with a rise in ticket prices if UT is wildly successful and demand drives prices up.

I think all fans could handle that scenario.

The Fish were selling tickets even when they weren't winning....

Of course having maybe the greatest RB in UT FB history should be enough to drive people to the games...

I think the addition of Landry will really open it up for Russell and Jones.

I'm sure the Assistant AD of Marketing and the Ticket Manager both make ok money, but grad assistants don't make big money. In fact, they don't even draw a salary. UT is having grad assistants and people employed by Aspire do the busy work, so I'm not sure who these big money leaches are that you're referring to.
