Very impressive. I am sure it will help Kelly in recruiting
Posters on CMU's board said that Longo deserved a large part of the credit for developing Staley and Bazuin

Kelly was at CMU 3 years so he likely recruited none of those players. But since he did help their development it is a good thing that he can use.

Very impressive for CMU, both the former coaching staff and the players.

50Cent Wrote:SeniorBearcat Wrote:Brian Kelly had three of his Central Michigan players drafted yesterday…not bad for a MAC school…let’s see what he can do with a BCS school.
From Central Michigan:
Joe Staley - Round 1 (28th) - San Francisco
Dan Bazuin - Round 2 (62nd) - Chicago
Drew Mormino - Round 6 (199th) - Miami
NFL Draft conference breakdown...
SEC: 41
Big 10: 32
ACC: 31
Big XII: 28
PAC-10: 28
WAC: 18
Big East: 16
MWC: 9
MAC: 8
C-USA: 8
Independents: 7
Sun Belt: 5
hopefully the big east will improve on those numbers in the next few years as they get more elite recruits and develop players
Don't forget the Big East is at a disadvantage with only 8 teams.
