The Reds announced today they will retire Dave Concepcion

So is retiring Pete's number next on the agenda? ;-)

I'm not really crazy about Pete Rose the person. And I don't like this whole gambling debacle thing.

But if you saw him play.........he left everything out on the field and truly was a student of the game, hard worker, and maybe one of the most accomplished underskilled players ever to play the game. He wasn't fast........but he could flat out hit. Not to mention he played multiple positions.
