Negotiations ongoing to have Toledo fill Kentucky schedule slot that UAB had held. 2 games in Lexington and 1 in Toledo. First game would be 2016. All talk, nothing on paper yet.
I'm all for that. Winnable game against a P5 team within driving distance and our recruiting footprint.
5 hour drive straight down I-75. If you have kids that like horses. Make a weekend and take them to the "Kentucky Horse Park" north of Lexington in Georgetown.
Amen to UK vs UT. Lexington is a great place to visit. The horse park is an interesting place even for the "non horse "folks". Good luck MOB.

Yep. didn't mean to exclude anyone.
Unicat road trip!!!

Like playing SEC teams!!!
Sweet. They suck! 03-lmfao. Probably not what an SEC fan would want to hear from a MAC teams fans. Even though we are probably all thinking it. Until we beat ISU and get on track again, these games will continue to devastate me when we lose them.
Sounds good to me.
Probably a good get at 2 for 1 (Pinkel gave us a gift with a 1 and 1). On paper Kentucky should be a beatable team, however, as I recall in 2012 when Kent State had their super year and went into the MACC (which they came within a whisper of winning) with a record of 11-1, their only loss at that time was to Kentucky who smoked them pretty badly as I recall. It might be possible for UT to win at least one of the three games but I wouldn't be surprised if they went 0-3 either-----Campbell may be due to beat a P5 team, but he has not done it yet.
Glad to hear about this deal. Near where I live, a big time athlete is going to UK as a TE. Ive reffed some of his basketball games. This will be an added bonus to the road trip...
Would love to see this happen! It would be a pseudo home game for me! Plus getting another SEC team in the GB, would be huge!
If this were to happen, would make 2016 a tough schedule, assuming the first game on the road. Toledo already has:

09/03 - at Arkansas State
09/17 - at Tulsa
10/01 - Fresno State

UK could be on 9/10, but that would be brutal, 3 road games to start the year.
UK could be on 9/24, and hopefully the MAC would give us a home game on 9/10.
Could play later in the year, as the SEC starts their conference schedule early, and has late OOC games, but UK does have UL for the last game of the year.
A home game against UK in 2017, would make for a real nice schedule:

09/09 - at Nevada
09/16 - Tulsa
09/23 - at Miami (FL)

UTs non conference schedule in 2018 is booked, although games could be moved if needed.

UTs 2019 & 2020 non conference schedules are completely open at this time.

UK has a lot of openings in their future schedules.
great move for UK they've offered the top 30 recruits in Ohio's 2016, 2017, and 2018 classes. Former UT player Vince Morrow is an Ohio recruiting machine. This is a good game against a good none P5 team for UK. And I know they are hot after Hudson and Warren from CCHS. A win against UT 3 straight years would carry some weight and exposure in OHIO and I'm sure they feel is not as big a risk as playing UC or OSU. Although I'm sure OSU wouldn't risk playing them now that Stoops and Morrow both who have Ohio connections are at UK. Sure is easier recruiting Ohio than Florida or Georgia for them since schools in those states have owned UK in football and Kentucky isn't a very good HS football state. Sorry to ramble, but UK had a good recruiting class in 2015 and off to a good start in 2016. By the time UT plays them these players will have a couple years experience playing in the SEC.

Only Vandy had a worse 2015 SEC FB Signing Class than UK.
Things have been awfully quiet on the football front schedule wise. Need more of this. And official release would be nice

Still rumor (which I hope is true) and negotiations......
I really want this to happen, even if it is 2-1
