Not much progress, but constructions started

Looks like a great facility. Hopefully it helps the team and recruiting right away. Exciting time for all of the sports teams right now.
No more frozen or rainy torture sessions for batting practice and pitching. A great addition for Tribe baseball.

Joe Plumeri Indoor Baseball Practice Facility Update (June 30)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
I drive by the construction site for the new indoor facility once or twice a week. Since they started construction [back in May?] they have made almost zero progress. Strictly some foundation work thus far. Meanwhile the Athletic Dept sends me an e-mail almost every week "announcing" the new facility.
I know nothing about construction, but the Zable upgrade was just foundation work for a long time. Once they started actually building up it went up quick. Since the baseball facility is much smaller, and the inside doesn't require the level of luxury and detail that Zable will, it doesn't shock me that they haven't started building "up" yet. It doesn't look like it will make the initially stated goal of early August, but I think it will be up and running by the first week or two of classes.
