But he's never gone to the NCAA tourney blah blah blah. I knew if he was being interview, he would most likely be hired. If you ever talked with him you would know why.

Congrats Mike White, I appreciate what you have done for Tech. You have earned this position as head coach of one of the prominent SEC basketball programs.

ODU is really going to dominate this conference soon.

WKU and MTSU are really the only long-term competition.

I knew when he's name was originally being mentioned, he was probably gone. But most on here were saying he was safe, Archie Miller, Marshall, Pitinio

Who would turn down the second best basketball school in the SEC? Congrats for him

Nobody's going to turn down that job. You guys dodged quite a few bullets but it looks like this might be it. Hope you get a good replacement, it won't be near as much fun beating you if you're not good.

Dusty May is our associate HC. He was at Tech before White. Also has been an assistant at UAB, Murray State, EMU, and Indiana. We could look outside but he would be my favorite this late in the process.

Dusty May is his top assistant and has been at Tech since 08-09 with the previous head coach. If you haven't notice Mike White had knack for recruiting Florida players, so I hope this doesn't hurt our Florida connection

I am happy for MW if this does happen but sad to see him go. His style of BB converted a lot of Tech football fans into BB fans. Hell, I even bought 2 season tickets and was only able to make 1 game. Hopefully, TM was prepared for this situation.

I don't know if I'd use the word "dominate" but you're a fool if you don't think ODU will be one of the top teams in the conf over the next 2-3 years.
