Watched the last 15 minutes or so and it was a great effort by the Dukes!!

They're very capable of making a deep run in the NCCAT.

Ladies draw USC in the 1st round down in Durham this Friday. I don't know touch about lacrosse but those that do seem to think it's a very good draw for the Dukes.

Lady Dukes keep getting it done. Congrats!

And, imagine that, without all the drama. Hunh.

I'll put my USC bias aside and agree that this seems like a pretty good draw for the Dukes. This is only the 3rd year of the USC women's lacrosse team and they're already in the NCAA tournament. They played a ton of teams close this year and could definitely beat JMU if the ladies don't come ready to play.

I'd put my money on the Dukes though. This is the first time I can remember that my two collegiate rooting interests have ever played each other in anything and I really don't know what to do about it.

Oh I'm rootin fer Dukes all the way. I'm just conflicted about it because I'm so proud of all the USC lax team has accomplished in 3 years. It's crazy. But I think JMU actually has a pretty decent shot at knocking off Duke and making a run. Also, undergrad comes before grad. Go Dukes.

The game vs. Southern California tonight is on espn3 at 7pm.

Great 1st half so far in Durham! Dukes and Trojans tied at 8. USC is killing the Dukes on the draw and on fast break chances. I said that USC would give the Dukes a tough game and so far they definitely are.

Down 13-10. Getting late.

Trojans close it out 13-10. Really really awesome game though as both teams played great. The difference came down to USC dominating the draw. Incredibly impressive for a team in its 3rd year of existence. It was also great to hear the commentators heaping praise on JMU. They said the Dukes are on of the most consistent programs in the country and a perennial power in the CAA. Tough to see the Dukes' season end but SO proud of the Women of Troy. Fight On and Go Dukes!
